(05-09-2022) SES Hydrogen S.A. and Szkoła Główna Służby Pożarniczej (SGSP) signed a letter of intent on research and development cooperation in the field of hydrogen technologies and safety. This is the first agreement of this kind in Poland.
The parties have expressed their will to carry out joint activities in the field of research, organization, teaching, and promotional activities. It aims to support further research and development of proprietary hydrogen technologies based on patents owned by the Company. The undertaken cooperation will not only support their development but also enable the exchange of knowledge and information and the implementation of educational activities and events.
Szkoła Główna Służby Pożarniczej is a state service university educating firefighters, service officers, and experts in the field of public safety and civil protection.
The University’s mission is to “create knowledge, disseminate and use it by educating officers for the dynamic development of fire protection and staff with the highest qualifications in the field of assessment of the state of civilization and natural threats, protection of life, health, property and other values from these threats, also educating students with a sense of patriotism, self-sacrifice in service and at work, in respect for the discipline of service and work, as well as conducting research that significantly enriches knowledge in the field of citizen safety”.
Safety of technology and education about the specifics of hydrogen use are among the most important values and core of SES Hydrogen. Cooperation with SGSP is an important step in the way of the development of the Company and the implementation of solutions enabling wide use of hydrogen in the Polish economy.
