Hydrogen buses are becoming more and more popular every year. Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Piła – these are just some of the large and smaller Polish cities that decide to include hydrogen buses in low-emission public transport fleets. AFIR: Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Regulation – the preliminary agreement would increase the number of hydrogen charging and refueling stations in Europe

The AFIR regulation is part of the Fit for 55, published in July 2021. It aims to ensure a sufficient network of charging and refueling infrastructure for road vehicles and ships in the EU to reduce the carbon footprint of European transportation.
